Lydia Anderson, RPA, has archaeological experience throughout the southeast of the United States, predominantly in Florida and Georgia. She received her BA in Anthropology and History from the University of South Florida and her MA in Archaeology from the University of Exeter. While an undergraduate, Miss Anderson volunteered in the university’s archaeology lab and completed an laboratory internship on the analysis of Woodland period ceramics with the Alliance for Weedon Island Archaeological Research and Education (AWIARE).
In her position as Crew Chief with TerraXplorations, Miss Anderson has gained experience in the preparation for and execution of Phase I and II investigations, GPR surveys, archival research, landowner interviewing, report writing, and team building. She has worked on projects for clients such as Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and the United States Forest Service (USFS). Her fields of expertise span the historical archaeology of the American Civil War, landscape agency, and the archaeology of warhorse burials in England.
