James Scott, M.A., is a Biological Anthropologist and Museum Professional who has worked in educational outreach and collections care for 10 years. In his Master’s thesis, Mr. Scott focused on cranial morphology of late pleistocene hominins at Wichita State University. Mr. Scott has spent most of his time working within university museum settings across the country, including at the University of Alabama, Wichita State University, the University of Michigan, and Michigan State University. While at each of these institutions, he participated in opportunities ranging from forensic recoveries in Kansas to Phase III archaeological excavations in Illinois and Alabama and museum education and collections care in Michigan, Kansas, and Alabama. For TerraX, Mr. Scott serves as the Curation Specialist. Upon completion of artifact analysis at our laboratory at our central office in Tuscaloosa, AL, Mr. Scott ensures efficient organization and transportation of all artifacts to the state’s corresponding curation facility.
