Heather Draskovich, M.A., has nine years of archaeological experience working in the southeastern United States and three years of experience in the CRM industry. She received her M.A. in Applied Anthropology (Archaeology Track) from the University of South Florida. She is an archaeologist with experience in pottery/ceramic analysis, zooarchaeological analysis, construction monitoring, historical artifact analysis, remote sensing, conditions assessments, cemetery survey, and GIS development. In her role with TerraX, she performs mapping tasks for Phase I and Phase II projects using ESRI software products. Mapping tasks include creating field maps and report maps from data provided by clients and TerraX field crews, conducting background searches for recorded resources on state databases, and creating predictive models. She has worked on projects for private clients as well as state and federally-funded entities, including state DOTs and FEMA. In addition to mapping duties, Ms. Draskovich heads the GIS Department for TerraX. In this role, she manages a small staff of GIS Specialists and delegates tasks to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
