Grady Gillett is a seasoned archaeologist with experience in the American Southeast, Cyprus, and Israel. He has been participating in excavations and laboratory research since 2019 and has recently been promoted to the role of Field Director. After graduating summa cum laude from Boston University with an Archaeology B.A., Mr. Gillett completed his M.A. in Near Eastern Archaeology at Tel Aviv University in Israel. In his thesis, he utilized ceramic petrography to analyze ceramic vessels from the eastern Mediterranean in order identify their provenience and reconstruct diachronic maritime trade routes and activity in the Late Roman and Early Byzantine periods.
