GIS Specialist

Job Requirements:

Use ESRI's ArcGIS software to prepare a wide variety of topographic maps and aerial imagery for use in CRM surveys

Communicate with the project Principal Investigator, field directors, and writers as needed

Interpret field notes and paperwork to alter maps appropriately
-
Balance multiple shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines
Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field

Proficiency with ESRI's ArcGIS software

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
-
M.A. in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field

Prior experience in the CRM field including field, lab, or other specialized work
